Circa 1820 – exceedingly RARE gable end oval window with spider web fenestration. When a picker originally shared a photo of this window I thought it was a metal or iron frame – the ornamentation was too good to be wood. WOW- was I surprised! Older white and green paint. There is an original rectangle frame – cut out of the house that measures 61 x 37 x 4.25. The window sash – while the main part of the window is oval – the sash is also rectangular and sits inside the box frame. The sash is 55.5 x 33. There is one piece of glass missing in the inside oval & 8 missing on the outside. Oval windows are rare elements in the Salvage world – one of this stature is really rare! THESE LOOK GREAT REUSED – RE-PURPOSED or simply hung on the wall as art work! Needs to be collected at my warehouse in Vernon CT. Let me know if you have any questions!!
