This vintage Navajo necklace is beaded with desert pearls (or bench beads) and has a striking spiderweb turquoise Naja pendant. The dense Naja has a twisted silver inlay, interesting flat bar bail and a dangling bezel-set turquoise stone. The Naja pendant measures approx. 2 7/8 inches x 2 5/16 inches. The turquoise stone is of light blue, to blue, to dark gray color and measures approx. The silver bench beads are graduated and vary in size from 6mm-8mm diameter. The necklace stretches 22 1/2 inches and closes with a hook clasp. This piece has a really nice drape. The metal on this necklace all tested as sterling silver (no hallmarks). This necklace appears to have been re-strung at some point. The beads, pendant, wire and hook clasp have some vintage patina (the bench beads have a darker patina than the pendant). There is other vintage age wear, such as fine scratches to the silver. Overall this piece is in good vintage condition. Please see detailed measurements below. Length : 22 1/2 Inches.
