Stone(turquoise) — length = 1 7/8. Width = 1.5. Note hallmark on inner surface of sterling silver stone setting. Turquoise stone has the appearance of Spiderweb # 8 in Eureka County north of Carlin, Nevada. Mine discovered in 1925 and first mined in 1929. Mine now closed — is mined today for gold. #8 turquoise reportedly depleted since 1961. Note characteristic of spider-web matrix with various color shades.
