New Sterling Silver Mens Longhorn Ring with Kingman Black Spiderweb Turquoise made by Native American Navajo Artist Russell Sam. The setting is a m. Solid Silver Casting with a “Longhorn” design on each side with a hand made setting on top. This design is a variation of traditional Navajo grooved fan design often seen on men’s rings. We have two versions of this setting, this one is slightly hollowed out on the inside top of the setting making it slightly lighter and for some people more comfortable. The turquoise is from Kingman mine in Arizona. The turquoise is cut following the natural contours of the raw nugget; some dips and irregularities are intentionally left. The Turquoise is natural, the black matrix has been enhanced with a mineral stain. Russell uses traditional casting techniques, forming methods and individually sizes his rings. His jewelry is hand made and will show evidence of sizing, tool marks, scratches, pits and other small flaws in the castings and stones.
